Maria Thurn und Taxis, (*1980) from Regensburg, Germany, is a London-based artist working across painting, collage, and video. Her practice draws on mythology, surrealism, and cultural history, using layered imagery—from botanical forms to classical motifs—to create dreamlike, often symbolic compositions. Through her collage technique, she explores the thresholds between the spiritual and material, the remembered and the imagined.
